Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini who is a businessman. Linda is Italian (from paternal grandsons), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda lived in San Francisco Bay region, California being the eldest of her four brothers. In her tenth year she became attracted to acting after performing in school plays. In addition, she continued to perform in school plays, as well as performing in community theatre. Lily James was born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (5 April 1989). She was an English actor. Her first acting experience began with Just William in 2010, a British TV series. Her breakout moment came in the year 2015 when she was cast in the role of lead in Cinderella, a fantasy film. She had previously played the role of Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period show Downton Abbey. James then played Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV version of War & Peace in 2016. James has appeared in many films including Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018, and The Dig 2021, as in the musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Again 2018 and Yesterday (2019). She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award in 2022 in her role as Pamela Anderson, the star of Pam & Tommy.
