Christina Haack, born on 7 July 1983, in Anaheim California. Her first job following school was that of a real estate agent. In this industry, she made friends with Tarek. They enjoyed a lot of prosperity until the 2008 stock market crash that saw many real-estate investors and homeowners go under. Tarek El-Mossa, Christina Moussisa went under due to the crash. Their apartment was $700 per week, compared to the $6,000 that they were paying per month for their house. Slowly, their business and the overall economy recovered. HGTV and Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek asked a friend to assist him in creating the HGTV audition tape that showed the two of them Christina flipping a house from start to finish. Pie Town Productions, a production company in New York City received the audition tape. The executives fell in love of Tarek, Christina and their story. They signed an official HGTV agreement in 2012. Flip of Flop was launched in April of 2013. From 2013 until 2017, 92 episodes shown over seven seasons. Christina and Tarek acquired properties located in Orange County that were usually middle income houses. Then they spent a few months renovating their home so they could sell it for a gain. Tarek is primarily focused on removal and remodeling, and Christina oversees the creating the design. Christina also makes sure that the project is completed on time.
