Anna Chlumsky, an American actress who has received acclaim from critics, rose to prominence by playing a child in the film My Girl 2 and its sequel'. The lead roles she played continued to delight the audience in movies like "Trading Mom" and "Gold Diggers: The Hidden of Bear Mountain". Her performances in these films earned her a number of important awards in the beginning of her career. At the age of 15 The girl who was absent from her classmates during film shoots began to feel alienated in the world of showbiz. She started to lose interest in performing and focusing on her education. Aspiring to be an author of food reviews however, her best chance was the job of fact-checking for Zagat guides to restaurants. Even her next assignment as an editorial assistant for HarperCollins made her feel miserable. After receiving advice from her agent she decided to return to acting. She took acting classes to develop her acting skills. Then, she landed the role in the role of Liza in 'In the Loop which led her acting on stage in Off Broadway plays. While she is unsure of what might be the outcome had she been more focused on performing, it's beneficial that she did not.
